London: Beyonce has sent flowers to actress Laverne Cox after she impersonated the singer on her show “Lip Sync Battle”.
The 35-year-old songstress was so impressed with the “Orange Is The New Black” star’s performance on Destiny’s Child track that she sent over the beautiful white orchids to her.
Cox took to Instagram to share a picture of flowers, which were gifted to her by the singer herself.
“When you are at work on #Doubt … And get flowers and a hand written card from the Queen Bey herself @beyonce…
“Thank you Beyonce for such a thoughtful gesture. You didn’t have to but it means so much that you did. I am so happy you enjoyed the #LipSyncBattle tribute to Destiny’s Child. You know I live for everything you do. EVERYTHING!! Thank you, thank you thank you!!!! (sic),” she wrote.
In her handwritten note, Beyonce wrote, “Laverne, Thank you for blessing this world with your slayage. You were gorgeous on Lip Sync Battle. Love, Beyonce.
