Hyderabad, July 07: The recently LPG cylinder accident occurred in Yakutpura was so intense that the windows and doors of Kitchen were smashed. The reason for the accident was that the LPG cylinder of expiry date. It was being used eventhough its expiry date was over long back.
If the gas cylinder explodes, it my damage articles kept at a distance of 100-150 feet.
If it is exploded within the four walls of the kitchen, it may damage everything in the kitchen. It may prove fatal to the life of the persons standing nearby.
The following expiry dates should be checked before getting the cylinders from the gas agencies.
A Group – January to March
B Group – April to June
C Group – July to September
D Group – October to December
If D-12 is painted on the cylinder, it means the expiry date of the cylinder is December 2012. In the same way, if it is C-12 it means September 2012.
