Beware of hidden hands: Abdullah

King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, received at his palace in Riyadh Friday male and female participants of the 9th National Forum for Intellectual Dialogue. Among those who called on the King were Dr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Obaid, member of the Presidential Committee for the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue; Dr. Abdullah Bin Omar Naseef and Dr. Rashed Al-Rajeh Al-Shareef, Deputy Presidents of the Committee; and Faisal Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Mo’amar, Secretary-General of the Center. — SPA photoRIYADH — King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, cautioned the participants of the 9th National Forum for Intellectual Dialogue at his palace here Friday of hidden hands, an SPA report said.

Talking to the gathering King Abdullah said: “Brothers, you’ve seen the state of affairs in the Arab world. It doesn’t warrant an explanation, as it is discernible to all. It is regrettable what is going on is the doing of hidden hands. These matters are clear to everyone. They are targeting Islam and the Arabs. There is no other intention. God willing, they’ll be defeated if our hearts are clean.

“The Saudi people are aware and understand their rights and duties. They are Muslims and serve Islam. They harbor no hatred against anyone nor do they follow philosophies, which have caused others to go astray right before their eyes. God willing, the rest of the Arabs and Muslims will not be lost …”

The King said his discussions with the Saudi people is from the “heart to heart”. He said the Saudi people can see for themselves the security, stability, tranquility and the strong economy of the Kingdom. He, however, said that he was still not satisfied with the current situation and aspired for more advancement.

King Abdullah said the people in the Kingdom have now realized the importance of dialogue and it is being conducted everywhere.

Among those who called on the King were Dr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Obaid, member of the Presidential Committee for the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue; Dr. Abdullah Bin Omar Naseef and Dr. Rashed Al-Rajeh Al-Shareef, Deputy Presidents of the Committee; Faisal Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Mo’ammar, Secretary-General of the Center; male and female participants and representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
