Better facilities assured in Ramadan than previous year

Hyderabad, July 14: State government has said that state administration will offer all facilities, better than last time, during the month of Ramadan which is beginning in August. This was told by Minister for Municipal Administration M Maheedhar Reddy, speaking to a group of journalists.

He said that ministers from city Danam Nagender (Labour and Employment) and Mukesh Goud (Marketing and Warehousing), will be consulted to take all the measures necessary for smooth conduct of the religious prayers at all the mosques particularly the Makkah Masjid located in the old city.

Municipal Administration minister M Maheedhar Reddy told that Auqaf and Municipal administration will ensure good sanitation, cleanliness at the places of worship.

“A meeting with the top brass of the police department would be held to discuss law and order on July 20 to see that peace is ensured during the Holy Month.” He said. “Ramadan festival is for all, and whoever got faith in God could take part in the fasting and Eid festivities,” said the Minister.

He told that traffic will be diverted at the places of worship so that the prayers may not get disrupted. The Municipal Administration Department will take measures for sale of good and fresh food at all the hotels visited by the people after prayers.

Earlier Chief Minister issued instructions to the Municipal Administration Minister to discuss arrangements for ensuing Ramadan with his counterparts Syed Ahmedullah, Wakf and Minorities Minister and city Ministers Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud.
