”Better connectivity between Noida-Delhi-Haryana in next 5yrs”

Noida, April 01: There will be better connectivity between Noida, Delhi and Haryana in the next five years as the BSP government in Uttar Pradesh plans to build five bridges over Yamuna river, Surinder Singh Nagar, MP from Gautam Budha Nagar, said here today.

The ruling BSP government has decided to put Noida and Greater Noida on fast track of development, he claimed.

“In the next five years, Noida will have five bridges on Yamuna river in Noida and Greater Noida area at a distance of 6 to 7 kilometers each. These will provide better connectivity with Delhi and Haryana,” Nagar said.

“Further, the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad expressway is under construction. We are contacting Haryana government for construction of bridges on Yamuna so that they can incorporate further road connectivity in their area to link to NH 2. Then there will be smooth connectivity between NH 2 and NH 24 via Noida,” he said, speaking at a BSP workers training camp held here.

Sharvan Kumar Sharma, a retired IAS officer who was earlier District Magistrate, Gautam Budha Nagar, and then Commissioner, Meerut, said: “From Kalindi Kunj to NH 24, several underpasses have been planned beside elevated roads. Residents of sector 62 will get smooth flow of traffic through elevated roads and underpasses.”
