Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that Mission Bhagiratha scheme will be implemented to provide drinking waters to Karimnagar civic area. He said that there is no paucity of funds and asserted that steps will be taken to improve basic amenities under Karimnagar Municpal corporation area. At a review meeting at Collector office in Karimnagar along with Finance Minister E Rajender, MLA G Kamalakar, Mayor Ravinder Singh and officials KTR discussed on the revenue and tax collection, facilities and steps to be taken for improving basic amenities. He said that adequate funds will be given for the purpose and Mission Bhagiratha will be implemented to ensure that the municipal area will get drinking water. Besides improving drinking water and drainage facility, LED Bulbs fixing, foot-paths construction to avoid traffic jams and accidents by cooperation of people he added. (NSS)
