Modi is the easiest prey for Muslim politicians and they ie Muslim politicians knows very well that invoking the name of Modi they can keep the flock of Muslim voters in their Pocket .
Azam is minister in- charge of Muzaffarnagar.Back from a 14- day tour of five countries, Uttar Pradesh urban development minister Azam Khan on Tuesday said it was a “ ploy of Modi” to malign the Muslim leadership in SP.
“ It is the plan of Modi to malign the Muslim leadership and also create a split. A section of media, which also wants to make him Prime Minister, is conspiring to tarnish my image and damage the prospects of the SP in elections by criticizing us,” Khan said here at a press conference.
He stressed that Muslims were still with Mulayam Singh Yadav and claimed that the SP president was the only secular leader whom the minority community could trust.
The 17- member Commonwealth Delegation, including eight SP ministers and nine MLAs, had left for a study tour of Turkey, Netherland, the UK, Greece and the UAE on January 8. That was when a large number of Muzaffarnagar riot victims were forcibly evicted from the relief camps by the UP government. The party came under more criticism because around the same time Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his other cabinet colleagues were busy in Saifai Mahotsav where Bollywood stars were invited to perform.
Even though more than 20,000 Muslims are still languishing in Relief camp and more than 66 deaths of minor have taken place in these camps due to cold weather .
Rejecting that there were a large number of riot victims who were driven away by the police from relief camps and forced to stay out in the open in this cold weather, Khan claimed the SP government has helped them “ wholeheartedly”. “ The government has done more than expected. We are taking care of the refugees. Those who are criticizing the government are not well- wishers of the Muslims,” the minister said.
He accused the media of using strong and objectionable words against the SP leaders’ activities.
He also ignored a question regarding the allegation of Tauqeer Raza, advisor of UP Handloom and Handicraft, that while some ministers were busy watching “ dances of Bollywood actresses” the remaining ministers were on “ pleasure trips”. To a question regarding his absence from Muzaffarnagar since the riots in August and September, 2013, Khan said, “ I am in the heart of the victims and they are in my heart.” He is minister in- charge of Muzaffarnagar.
He said the delegation has learnt many things on the study trip and termed “ generating power from garbage” among the most important things.
