ITALIAN Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has boasted of sleeping with eight women in one night.
Berlusconi, 74, made the claim in a bugged phone chat with businessman Giampaolo Tarantini, who allegedly recruited escort girls for his wild parties.
“ Yesterday evening, there was a queue outside my door,” Berlusconi said. “ There were 11. I had eight because I couldn’t go any further. You can’t do all of them.” The call was made on New Year’s Day 2009, with Berlusconi adding: “ I feel good this morning … the things you have to do on New Year’s Eve.” Italians believe if you make love on New Year’s Eve, you will make love for the whole year.
The revelation comes from 100,000 wire taps and bugged phone chats discovered during a judicial investigation against eight people who allegedly supplied escort girls for Berlusconi’s parties including the infamous bungabunga bashes.
One of his alleged string of conquests, escort Maria Teresa De Nicolo, 38, claims she had a foursome with Berlusconi and two other women.
She said: “ Before I got to his party, I was given €1,000 [ ` 65,300] and told, “ If Silvio wants you to stay, then stay … don’t worry, he will give you money”. On the tap, the Italian Prime Minister, who is 5 feet 5 inches tall, is also heard asking Gianpaolo Tarantini “ not to bring tall [ girls], as we are not tall.” At one point, he reveals that there are 40 women staying in his house who just won’t leave. In many others, he asks excitedly who the businessman will bring him next.
Berlusconi found himself at the centre of a raging sex- scandal after these taped conversations were released and is also on trial for allegedly having paid for sex with a 17- year- old escort Karima El Mahroug.
