Soon after state elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand is over, the party is setting eyes on Bihar and West Bengal poll.
BJP president Amit Shah will be focusing on Bihar elections which is headed for elections next year and where Kolkata Municipal Corporation polls are due and it is an important test for the BJP before the state Assembly polls in 2016.
The BJP has undertaken an aggressive membership drive, is conducting a door-to-door campaign and is targeting the youth. In Bihar, the BJP is trying to reach out to every corner of society and galvanising the party at the panchayat level, senior party leader Sushil Modi said.
A BJP ,member said West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee relieing in Muslims votebank, but now time had changed. He claimed that the party was confident of facing the challenge from secular forces coming together against the BJP, and once again BJP will raise as a winner.
However the upcoming municipal corporation elections will be a litmus test for the BJP’s ‘Mission 2016’ to capture power in the state.
