Cumberbatch was caught in lenses, in action on March 2 in Manhattan, reports TMZ.com.
The 39-year-old actor was seen in a red cape with bruises all over.
Even Chiwetel Ejiofor, who plays villain Baron Mordo in the comic, was also spotted there. (ANI)
