Hyderabad, January 01: Ahead of Justice BN Srikrishna Committee’s report becoming public on Jan 6, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has made it clear that nothing short of separate state would be acceptable to the people of the region.
He released a diary of Telangana NGOs’ Association here today. The TRS would attend the all-party meet in Delhi but would walkout if the report was against Telangana. He faulted the Centre for offering various alternatives to Telanganites without honouring even small wishes of the people. He dismissed as ‘conjecture’ the reports of a nexus between him and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He wanted TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu to send only one representative to the all-party meet and let the party present only one opinion.
Boycott all-party meet: Gadar
The Telangana Praja Front (TPF) president Gadar called on the eight recognised political parties to boycott the all-party meeting convened by the Union home ministry on January 6.
He alleged the home ministry had invited two members from each party with an intention to dilute the Telangana issue. Gadar asked all party cadres and Telangana activists to continue the struggle for Telangana.
