End of Islamic State declares Iranian President

Beirut: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Monday addressing a live TV Broadcast has declared of Islamic State on Tuesday.
Major General Qassem Soleimani, a senior commander of Iran ‘Revolutionary Guards’ has also confirmed by declaring the end of Islamic State in a message sent to the country’s Supreme Leader, which was published on Sepah News.
Earlier, videos and pictures of Quds Force taking over operations outside Iran’s borders against Islamic State in Iraq and Syria have been frequently posted by Iranian media for the past few years.
The Iranian media last week published pictures of Soleimani at Albu Kamal in eastern Syria which was declared as the last territory retaken from the Islamic state control in the region.
Iran’s most powerful military force the Revolutionary Guards has been fighting alongside and in support of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad and the central government in Baghdad for several years now.
