Being A Minister, I Was Made To Beg The CM: DL

Minister D L Ravindra Reddy has once again expressed is anger at the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Talking to the media here on Sunday, he said despite being a minister, he was made to beg the Chief Minister for power. He said it was unfortunate that being a minister he was not exempted from power cut. He has also alleged that only influential persons who had the support of big leaders were getting the fruits of welfare and development works. He has advised the government to implement welfare schemes in right earnestness.
Earlier, participating in several developmental programmes in his Mydukuru constituency, he told people not to believe the promises of freebies by political leaders.

It may be recalled that DL has been dissatisfied ever since the Chief Minister had divested him of some of his portfolios. He has even opposed the Re-one-a-kg-rice scheme introduced by the Chief Minister. D L had even resigned from the cabinet. He has however withdrawn his resignation after the PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and others persuaded him. (NSS)
