Bedi travels by metro, says it lacks ‘last mile connectivity’

Bharatiya Janata Party’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, who travelled by Delhi Metro from Patel Chowk to Nirman Vihar on Friday, said it lacks ‘last mile connectivity’.

“What is lacking is the last mile connectivity. There needs to be connectivity between the ring railway, buses and metro, this is mentioned in our vision document also. There should be a single ticket for metro and buses,” Bedi said.

When asked about the most important thing that needs to be done for Delhi, she said, “One step won’t work, a lot of steps need to be taken for Delhi.”

A total of 673 candidates are in the fray for the 70-member Delhi Assembly.

The elections will be held in a single phase tomorrow. The counting of votes will take place on February 10. (ANI)
