On the horizon of Hyderabad Moon made its full appearance with maximum brightness due to the nearest distance from the Earth. It was at 3,56. 954 km from the Earth.
It was looking bigger in size than usual. The darkness of night was transformed into broad daylight. Many high rise buildings such as Makkah Masjid Charminar, Naubath Pahad, Assembly buildings, Golconda Fort etc. were looking extra bright last night. Many families went to their farm houses to spend moonlit night there.
Earlier, Supermoon was sighted on 19th March 2011. The next Supermoon will be sighted on 10th August 2014. In the past in 1955, 1974, 1992, 2005, and 2011 full Supermoon was sighted.
Astrologers had predicted natural calamities such as famine, flood earth quakes etc during these years but the scientists disproved all of them.
