Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Tuesday directed his cabinet colleagues and MLAs and MLCs to attend a scheduled meeting to elect Chairman for Telangana Council.
The CM asked them to be present at the meeting hall at 10 am. The TRS fielded its MLC Swamy Goud for the top post, while the Congress fielded Farooq Hussain.
During the meeting held earlier, KCR is said to have instructed the leaders on the election process. He is said to have exuded confidence that the TRS has got total strength to win the post. (NSS)
