The AICC secretary V Hanumnantha Rao has dubbed the budget introduced by the TRS government for the year 2017-18 as ‘election budget’ aimed at votes and made it clear that Telangana sentiment will not work in the next elections. Stating that the BCs were not ready to take the sheep and buffalos, VH asked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to tell whether BCs were beggars to take sheep and buffalos now.
VH said at Gandhi Bhavan today that BCs were thinking that they want to see their children in higher positions by pursuing education. He asked Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, who was stating that the women have to speak bravely, to ask her father and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to tell as to why he was not inducting women into his Cabinet. He said that it was not proper for the Chief Minister to construct Mallanna Sagar project at the cost of the farmers. (NSS)
