BCs Commission seeks opinions and suggestions on Muslim reservation through public hearing starting today

Hyderabad : Telangana State Backward Classes Commission is starting public hearing today which will continue till 17th December. Opinions and suggestions would be elicited from various sections of society on the present educational and economic backwardness of Muslims. This hearing will be held at the office of the commission located behind the office of Metropolitan Water Works Dept., Khairtabad from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to chairman, Mr. B.S. Ramulu, the other members namely; Dr. V. Krishna Mohan, Dr. Anjaneya Goud and Mr. J. Gauri Shanker will also be present during public hearing.

Mr. Ramulu told that State Govt. has requested the commission to review the report submitted by Sudhir Commission of Inquiry and submit its recommendations. BCs Commission has requested the general public and all those organizations who are interested in this issue may submit their opinion/suggestions/objections before the Commission in person or in writing. The representations could also be submitted online at tscbcs2014@gmail.com. All such representations submitted in six sets.

Member Secretary of BCs Commissions, Ms. G.D. Aruna, IAS has requested the Dept. of Minorities Welfare to provide the services of Urdu knowing officials so that the Commission could take their help in case representations are made in Urdu.

Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Secretary/Director of Urdu Academy has provided the services of two Urdu translators and two Urdu DTP operators to help Commission prepare the summary of the representations made in Urdu since there is no Urdu knowing member in the Commission.

All the Muslim organizations are requested make representations in large numbers and present concrete proof in support of their arguments.
