Badugu Balaheena Varghala Kootami of Andhra Pradesh (BBK) has strongly felt that Congress party would not bite dust in the ensuing elections to local bodies, Assembly and Lok Sabha in both Telangana and Seemandhra State as being alleged by its critics, but it would give a very tough fight and emerge winner finally.
Speaking to mediapersons here after an emergency executive meeting on Saturday, BBK State convenor Singarayya Yadav welcomed the appointments of Ponnala Lakshmaiah as TPCC president, N. Raghuveera Rao as APCC chief and Congress election committee members Chiranjeevi, Botcha Satyanarayana, Panabaka Lakshmi, JD Seelam, Kanna Lakshminarayana, Dokka Manikyavaraprasada Rao, A Chakrapani, Kondru Murali Mohan, Damodar Rajanarasimha, V. Hanumanth Rao, Mohd Shabbir Ali, Dr J. Geeta Reddy, Anjan Kumar Yadav and others.
Singarayya Yadav said the election results would send shockwaves to the BJP and its NDA constituents as the Congress and its allies would get majority of seats in the municipal, panchayat, Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in both Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh and would retain power. He also said the BBK would canvas for victory of Congress, its allies and the proposed Third Front parties in order to prevent the BJP-led NDA from coming to power at the Centre. He exuded confidence that UPA and Third Front would form governments at the Centre and in the States as the victory chances of the BJP and its allies are remote.
K. Sanyasi Rao Yadav, P. Satyanarayana Yadav, T Adilakshmi Yadav, Sheik Siddaiah, C. Muralidhar, Prasad, Thota Gangadhar Yadav, Ramanaiah, Shankaraiah, P Srinivas Yadav and others were present in the executive meeting. (NSS)
