The caravan of yatra ‘From Batla House to Makkah Masjid’ entitled ‘Safar-e-Insaaf-o-Bhaichara’ with an aim to create awareness among people about the trend of implicating innocent Muslim youths in false terror cases, reached Hyderabad yesterday where corporator Majlis Bachao Tahreek welcomed the caravan.
Workers of several human rights organizations such as Khudai Khidmatgar, National Alliance of People’s Movements (NAPM), Mission Bhartiyam, Act Now for Harmony and Democracy (ANHAD) and Sadbhav Mission visited Makkah Masjid and offered Zohr prayers in the mosque. They also inspected the place where blast occurred in 2007.
Later they also called on Maulana Abdul Aleem Islahi, Maulana Naseeruddin, Dr. Junaid and Abdul Kaleem.
Talking to media persons at Makkah Masjid, Khudai Khidmatgar chief Faisal Khan told that our caravan started from Batla house on April 12 and passing through various cities reached Hyderabad.
Yatra is a mission to raise voices against atrocities on Muslims.
