‘Baseless allegations, BJP can’t win alleging Pakistan’s involvement’ says Pakistan’s former Foreign Minister

New Delhi: Amidst the allegations of Congress party colluding with Pakistan to ensure ruling party BJP loses the Gujarat’s ongoing Assembly elections, Pakistan’s former Minister Khurshid Kasuri has stated a social event meeting with India’s Intelligence Agency head doesn’t determine they are conspiring BJP loss at the Poll bound Gujarat.

PM Modi has certainly accused Congress leaders of colluding with neighboring country Pakistan to ensure BJP loses Gujarat elections which, in fact, has received criticizing responses for the allegations from Pakistan’s officials who have asked Modi to win the elections on his own without dragging Pakistan into it.

The former Pakistan’s Finance Minister said these allegations made by Modi in the middle of the elections are just to gain votes and win the elections the odd way.

He was quoted saying on a Samaa, Pakistani News Channel that, “The allegations are baseless. They think that by giving it a Pakistan angle, they can get votes.”

Referring to the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of Indian Intelligence Agency, Kasuri added, “I have met even the chief of RAW in previous seminars. So does that imply, all of them were colluders?”

Kasuri has clearly stated that it his association with the India-Pakistan peace process that there have been various events in the past where he was called to attend the party meetings and that he just one of the attendees.

Earlier this Sunday while addressing the Gujarat rally, PM had allegedly accused Congress and Pakistan were together conspiring against BJP.

Modi was quoted saying, “…news is that Pakistan High Commissioner and foreign minister and Manmohan Singh met at his house just before the Gujarat polls. This is a serious issue that I want to ask. What is the reason for secret meeting with Pakistanis,” reports TOI.
