Hyderabad: Basavatarkam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute celebrated its 19th Foundation. A special foundation day program was arranged on the occasion as culmination of month long activities held at hospital.
On the occasion, dignitaries felicitated cancer survivors, who successfully fought against the dreaded disease. Later, they also felicitated employees of the hospital, who have completed ten years of service in the organization.
Earlier, Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI, presented annual report of the hospital. Dr Prabhakar Rao listed various new facilities introduced by the hospital to provide treatment with latest technology. Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, BIACH&RI Trust Board Member also spoke.
Hospital chairman Balakrishna expressed his satisfaction in the way the organization has grown into 500 bedded facility from mere 50-bed hospital. He appreciating tireless efforts of doctors and staff members in getting recognition as world class facility to BIACH&RI.
Along with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, G Ravi Kumar, COO, Dr TS Rao, Medical Director, Dr Kalpana Raghunath, Associate Director-Academics, Dr Koteswara Rao, doctors, staff members, patients and their family members were present.
