Bas 2 minute: Laziness of mothers shoots up Maggi sale

BJP MLA Usha Thakur lashed at the mothers across the country by saying that sale of Maggi surged because of mother’s laziness.

Thakur, who is best known for her anti-minority remarks during garba functions last year, said this while responding to the media on the ban on sale of Maggi in Madhya Pradesh.

The sale has attained such huge proportions because mothers have been looking quick-fix meal options for fussy kids.

“Earlier mothers used to offer their kids paratha and other homemade things in breakfast but due to busy schedule and laziness, mothers make their kids addicted to things like Maggi,” she said, adding that this is the reason sale of Maggi has been surging.

The aggressive BJP legislator welcome the ban “two-minute noodles” and furthered that other such harmful food items should also be subjected to similar ban.
