Hyderabad, September 08: The sleuths of Central Crime Station (CCS) on receiving a complaint from Awad Bin Younus Yafai the brother of slain Ibrahim Bin Younus Yafai today registered a case of murder and criminal conspiracy against MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala his gunman Jani Miya and Maisaram MIM Corporator Mansoor Awalqi. Awad is the nephew of Mohammed Pahelwan the prime accused in the Barkas Akbaruddin Owaisi shoot out case.
According to the official sources Awad Yafai had lodged a complaint after the A.P.High Court directed the Hyderabad Police to investigate the firing caused by MLA Gunman Jani Miya. In the complaint Awad had alleged that his brother Ibrahim Yafai had died due to the bullet injury received at the hands of Akbaruddin Owaisi.
He further alleged that Akbaruddin Owaisi and his followers Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala, Corporator Mansoor Awalqi his brother Mahmood Awalqi and others had hatched a criminal conspiracy to kill the members of Yafai family in order to eliminate any sort of political opposition to them. It is also alleged that the Gunman of the MLA is hand in gloves with the MIM MLAs and as such they opened fire by aiming the guns from the point blank range.
Awad Yafai who is undergoing treatment for bullet injuries at Yashoda Hospital in his complaint has also alleged that during the general elections in 2009 his uncle Mohammed Pahelwan did support Akbar Owaisi and instead supported his rival candidate due to which Akbar reportedly developed grudge against Awad’s family and started threatening.
