Barbara Mori stars in cancer documentary

London, August 17: The ‘Kites’ star Barbara Mori, who is a cancer survivor, has acted in a documentary film ‘1 a minute’, which aims to create awareness about the killing disease cancer.

The movie would release across India on October 1.

The other star caste includes famous cancer survivors like Lisa Ray (Water and Bollywood Hollywood), Barbara Mori (La Mujer de Mi Hermano and Kites), Mumtaz (Bollywood actress of yesteryears), Namrata Singh Gujral (Americanizing Shelley and The Agency), Olivia Newton-John (Grease), Jaclyn Smith (Charlie’s Angels), Melissa Etheridge (An Inconvenient Truth), Diahann Carroll (Claudine), brothers Billy Baldwin (Backdraft) and Danny Baldwin (Vampires) have acted in the movie.

Barbara herself is a cancer survivor. Fortunately the cancer could be cured as it was detected at an early stage.

Her recent release in India was the movie ‘Kites’, in which she starred against Hrithik Roshan. The movie did not do well at the box office but Barbara was admired and appreciated by the critics and the audience.
