Hyderabad: Habeeb Mohammed resident of Hyderabad was arrested in Dubai and jailed for carrying banned drugs. Though earlier he was sentenced to one-year jail and a fine of 20,000 Dirhams, but his punishment was increased to seven years and 50,000 Dirhams, by the higher court.
The report published in Deccan Chronicle states that the man who gave the drugs to Habeeb and the one who was supposed to receive it at Dubai both are absconding.
