Banks refusing loans to farmers due to non-implementation of waiver: Mallu

Stating that the farmers in the State were in serious concern, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that the banks were refusing to give new loans to the farmers as loan waiver scheme was not implemented properly by the State government.

Speaking to the media at Gandhhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Bhatti said there was scarcity of denominations when the farmers tried to get private loans. The 40 lakh farmers were directionless in the State, he said and asked the Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister to concentrate on these issues immediately. The agriculture sector would fall in crisis in case the government failed to initiate steps on war-footing. The State government should have spoken to the Centre on farmers plight; but unfortunately Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was not thinking about their problems, he alleged.  The impact of demonetization of big notes fell on villages and agriculture sector seriously, he claimed. Hyderabad City collapsed during the TRS regime and there was responsibility to the government to protect the City. The development took place during the Congress government remains stagnated under the TRS rule.

Condemning Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao’s criticism of Congress party, Bhatti said it was unfortunate on the part of Harish Rao to make such irresponsible statements being Legislative Affairs Minister. He said the Chief Minister never stood on his word on running the Assembly. KCR speaks something and does different.  The TRS government never ran the House with responsibility, he alleged and warned that the Congress party would cleanse the TRS government, which was in deep neck corruption in the coming Assembly session.

Reiterating that the TRS party was afraid of Congress party thinking that the latter may cleanse the ruling party, Bhatti wondered that KCR was living in the world of dreams while sleeping in his Farm House. He alleged that the creation of Telangana didn’t happen with KCR’s sleep or with TRS MLC Palla Rejeshwar Reddy, who collecting lakhs of rupees establishing colleges. The creation of separate Telangana State was realized with the Congress party movement and with the relentless efforts of the Congress leaders. “I played a key role when the Telangana Bill was introduced in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly as Deputy Speaker. Sonia Gandhi created separate Telangana State while sticking to the word she gave to the people as per their aspirations”, he said. (NSS)
