Hyderabad, December 14: Telugu Desham deputy floor leader Mr. Ibraheem bin Abdullah Masqati reacted strongly against the misleading details provided in the state bankers committee meeting regarding loan granted to minorities.
He demanded to call the officials of the bankers committee to account and direct them to submit details of the loans sanctioned to minorities.
Mr. Ibraheem Masqati said that the issues of agriculture and farmer always reign the meetings of bankers committee and government has no interest in the welfare of weaker sections and minorities.
He said it has been claimed to grant loans to minorities to the tune of Rs. 11776 crore, which is misleading.
Mr. Masqati asserted that implementation of welfare schemes for minorities in the state is next to nothing. Minority isntitutuions have become defunct. All schemes of Urdu academy have been stopped.
