Banks, ATM centres in old city face discrimination

Hyderabad: Majlis Bachao Tahreek spokesman Amjadullah Khan Khaled called on Chairman Minority Commission Abid Rasool Khan at Commission office and submitted a memorandum. The memorandum stated that Modi government all of a sudden made announcement on November 8 regarding abolition of R. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes and advised the people to obtain Rs. 2000 notes in exchange. Hence scores of ladies and gents are seen waiting for their turn in queue for hours.

Amjadullah Khan Khaled claimed that Old City is inhabited predominantly by Muslims hence discriminatory attitude is meted out towards banks and ATM centres in old city.
