Allahabad, March 17: The Allahabad High Court today asked a nationalised bank to file an affidavit with regard to a petition filed by a candidate who had received the interview letter after the date for it had elapsed.
The petition was filed by one Pawan Kumar Mishra, an advocate, who had applied for the post of Special Officer (Legal) in the Bank of Baroda.
The petitioner said though he had cleared the written examination, he could not appear for the interview held on January 17 this year as the letter was despatched only on January 21.
A Division Bench comprising Justice Sunil Ambawani and Justice Kashi Nath Pandey fixed March 30 for further hearing.
