Bangladeshi national caught while trying to get Indian passport

Hyderabad: A Bangladeshi national has been arrested by Dabeerpura police on the charges of trying to get Indian passport through fake documents. According to sources Sulaiman (26), S/O Shams had arrived in India on Bangladeshi passport in 2017. He studied in a madrasa located at Balapur. Later he returned to Bangladesh. After some time he illegally entered into India through Bangladeshi border and showing himself as the resident of West Bengal obtained an identity card from Delhi College. He also got Aadhaar card on that basis.

A few days later Salman got the job of a muezzin in a masjid at Malakpet. On the basis of the Aadhaar card and bank account, Sulaiman applied for a passport. But when the staff of the special branch contacted him for enquiry, he got suspicious about Sulaiman’s nationality and informed Dabeerpura police.

Sulaiman was arrested and during interrogation, he revealed the details. He has been shifted to Chanchalguda jail.
