Rain has delayed the start of Bangladesh innings in their Asia Cup match against Sri Lanka.
In a must win encounter, Bangladesh put up a spirited bowling performance against Sri Lanka bundling out the islanders for 232 runs. Comeback man Nazmul Hossain was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers who ran through the Lankan top order with three quick wickets.

Sri Lanka were not able recover from the horrid start as the middle order consolidated the innings in a slow manner. Chamara Kapugedara top scored with a patient 62 off 92 balls as he stitched together 88-run partnership with Lairu Thirumanne (48). Later in the innings, Upul tharanga scored some vital runs taking the Lankan total past 200 with a 44-ball 48 run knock.
