Govt. of AP has decided to introduce “Bangaru Talli” scheme to encourage giving birth to girl child. It has been decided that State Govt. would bear entire expenses of education of the girl right from KG to PG.
This scheme is being implemented to prevent foeticide when it is detected in the womb of the mother that the child is a girl.
