Bangalore enter in IPL final

Chennai, May 28: Royal Challengers Bangalore breezed into the final of the Indian Premier League with a commanding 43-run win against the Mumbai Indians at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here on Friday.

They will now defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings in Saturday’s final at the same venue.

Asked to bat first, the Royal Challengers, courtesy a powerful 47-ball 89 by opener Chris Gayle and his 113-run partnership for the first wicket with Mayank Agarwal (41), amassed 185 for four in 20 overs and then restricted Mumbai Indians to 142 for eight with skipper and left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori claiming 3 for 19 in his four overs.

Sachin Tendulkar (40) was the top scorer for Mumbai Indians.
