Hyderabad, January 22: India is a secular country where it is obligatory to respect all the religions. Bans on selling liquours are imposed on various occasions in India. Compulsory restriction is imposed on various occasions in India. Compulsory restriction is imposed on 26th January, Gandhi Jayanthi (2nd October), Independence Day (15th August).
As per the laws, State Govt. is fully empowered to put a ban on the sale of liquor according to its rules.
On the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) ban should be imposed on the sale of liquor. Our Prophet (PBUH) has declared consuming liquor as ‘haram’.
