Ban order in Hyderabad – Here’re the details

Hyderabad: With a view to maintain public order and peace in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, has prohibited assembly of five or more persons in a radius of 200 meters from the Polling Stations within the city limits on December 7 in connection with general elections to the Telangana Assembly.

The prohibitory order will remain in force from 0600 hours on December 7 to 2000 hours on December 7. The CP informed the public that any person violating the ban orders will be prosecuted.

Ban on toddy/liquor shops from Dec. 5 to 7

The Commissioner of Police also ordered that the toddy/wine shops, bars attached to restaurants, Military canteen (including bars in star hotels and registered clubs) situated within the limits of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad shall remain closed from 1800 hours on December 5 to 1800 hours on December 7 in connection with Telangana State Legislative Assembly Elections to be held in the Twin Cities on December 7 in the interest of Public Peace and tranquility.
