Balram Naik warns KCR against loose talk

Warning TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao not to indulge in ‘loose talk’ against AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi, Union Minister Balram Naik has said that Sonia Gandhi had never said that she will not carve out separate Telangana State.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, Naik said that Sonia Gandhi and AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi will stick to December 9, 2009 statement on Telangana issue and they will carve out separate Telangana State at a ripe time. Stating that general elections would occur only in 2014 and there were no indications that the elections will come before the scheduled time, he said there was no such situation at the Centre.

Responding to a question, Naik said there was no corruption in the Congress Government. He said the corrupt leaders and others were going to jails in the Congress Government. He said the Congress government was providing 100 days work to the SC/ST and BCs perfectly through NREGS.

He said that one should be considered as a leader only when he was along with the people and the leaders who confines to the residences will not be considered as the leaders. He said that he was with the people. Responding to another question, Naik said that the leaders will be considered as a Congress leaders till they did not cross the party line and the leaders, who resigned to the party, naturally will not be considered as Congress men.
