Balladeer Gadar casts his vote for the first time

Hyderabad: Balladeer and former Naxalite Gadar exercised his franchise for the first time on Friday. 70-year-old Gadar was enrolled as a voter in Alwal constituency. Gadar quit his job to join the People’s War Group (PWG).

The septuagenarian who had famously rejected electoral politics and refused to participate in electoral politics for decades had been advocating for a new democratic revolution (NDR).

The former-Naxal voted for the first time and has backed the Congress-TDP led Grand Alliance this election.
