TDP leader, actor and Hindupuram MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna on Thursday expressed happiness over his party capturing Hindupuram Municipality after 27 years.
Balakrishna participated in a meeting in the Hindupuram municipality in connection with the process of electing municipal chairman. Balakrishna as MLA and Nimmala Kistappa as MP participated in the voting in capacity as ex-officio members.
R Lakshmi was elected as municipal chairperson and GPK Ramulu as vice-chairman.
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna said he would make vigorous efforts to develop the municipality with coordination of party councilors. (NSS)
