Balayya goes to Assembly, CMO to meet KCR

Telangana TDP leaders gave a tumultuous welcome to party MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna when he entered the Telangana Assembly premises.

Balakrishna, who donned the main role in yet to be released “Goutamputra Shatakarni” a Telugu movie stepped into the Assembly to meet Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Balakrishna was welcomed by TDP MLAs at the TDLP office. Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna said as he is an actor he belonged to both the Telugu speaking States.

On learning that the Chief Minister KCR was not available in the Assembly, the actor rushed to CM’s camp office where he met KCR and invited him for special premier screening of his latest film. “Goutamiputra Shatkarni” is 100th film of Balakrishna which is ready for release. Balakrishna thanked the Chief Minister as Telangana government has already exempted the film from Entertainment Tax. KCR also agreed to watch special show of the new film. (NSS)
