Tollywood actor and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna joined a special New Year celebrations organized in Pediatric ward of BIACH&RI as special guest and spent some joyous moments with the children fighting with cancer. On the occasion, Balakrishna cut a special cake brought by staff and management of BIACH&RI to mark the special occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna extended his New Year greetings to all. He urged all the staff members, doctors and management to work together in order to achieve vision and mission envisaged by late NT Rama Rao, who inspired the creation of such a world class facility to provide affordable cancer care to poor.
Speaking later, Pamarru MLA Uppuleti Kalpana lauded the efforts of BIACH&RI in providing best care for cancer patients. She urged the doctors to take up more awareness programs.
The program was attended by Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI; Dr TS Rao, Medical Director, BIACH&RI, B Krishna Murthy, COO, BIACH&RI along with doctors, staff members, students and patients along with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Uppuleti Kalpana and others.
