A bakery owner allegedly committed suicide by leaping off the running Ananthapuri express train soon after it left Sattur station in Virudhunagar district.
Police said the man, a native of Madurai and running a bakery in Thiruvananthapuram, had a wordy duel with his wife
before leaping out of the train. He died on the spot.
The couple and their child were on their way to this city.
