Hyderabad, February 14: The “Bajrang Dal”, a strident supporter for the sustenance of the ages-old Hindu culture and strong opponent of western influence on centuries-old endemic culture and traditions has struck fear in the hearts of teenage lovers on Monday. It, being a vehement opponent of Valentines Day, has embarked on a spoilsport of the enjoying moments of the young couples in the twin cities.
Fearing attack by the Bajrang Dal activists, the lovers were forced to choose reclusion and give up their moments of joy. The activists even made a lovers pair to enter into wedlock at Koti. They even attacked some shops in the twin cities, where gifts to mark the Valentines Day were put on sale.
While the Bajrang Dal activists were on a hunt for lovers on the Necklace Road, the police resorted to cane charge them.
