(Siasat News)Founder of Rayalaseema Parirakhshana Samithi and TDP leader Mr. Bai Reddy Raja-sekhara Reddy started his fast in Kurnool. His fast began in front of Krishnadevarayulu statue in Kurnool yesterday.
Before starting the fast, Mr. Reddy said that the purpose of his fast is to protect the interests of the drought-hit area of Rayalaseema. He told that he is against the bifurcation of the State. He asked the political parties to make their stand clear on the issue of division of the state.
He clarified that his fast is nothing to do with TDP. He also criticized those leaders, who are blaming TDP supreme, Mr. N.Chandrababu Naidu that he has started his agitation for separate Rayalaseema at the behest of Mr. Naidu. He blamed the Congress leaders that by involving Mr. Naidu’s name, they want to draw political benefits. He also clarified that he has not started this agitation to stop the formation of Telangana. The purpose of his agitation is to create awareness among the people about this issue.
