Baghdad bombing kills 9, injures 30

Baghdad, May 04: At least nine people have been killed and thirty others injured in a bomb attack in Baghdad.

A bomb planted in a car ripped through a crowded market in the Shia enclave of Doura in south Baghdad on Tuesday, AP reported.

The police cordoned off the area, and the death toll is expected to rise.

The attack also damaged several vehicles and nearby shops.

According to police officials, most of the dead and wounded were young people who were watching a football match.

No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
