Badminton court board on Masjid Land

(Siasat News) On hearing the news of desecration of the Mosque situated at Gayatrinagar, Jallelaguda, Kirman Ghat in Ranga Reddy District, the president of Deccan Wakf protection society Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri visited the Qutub Shahi Masjid. He represented the matter to the Chairman of A.P. State Muslim Wakf Board for the rehabilitation of this old Mosque. The Chairman sent the Task Force team under the stewardship of Mr. Abdul Quddoos. He inspected the site along with Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri and promised to submit the inspection report to CEO of Wakf Board Mr. M.A. Gaffar. The Task Force team, during its inspection noticed that dirty clothes and garbage have been dumped in front of the Mosque. The approach road leading to Mosque has been blocked by dumping the trees cut from the neighbouring areas. On the open land in front of the Mosque, a Board of Badminton court has been erected.

On the basis of representation made by Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri, Mr. Abdul Quddoos and the Wakf Board staff surveyed the Mosque property and the adjacent Wakf land and prepared a report. The report was submitted to the CEO of Wakf Board, who in turn, presented the same to the Chairman of Wakf Board Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani. He instructed the Wakf Board staff to retrieve Wakf records and take action for the protection of Wakf land and the Mosque. He also instructed them to take the help of the local Muslims in rehabilitating the Mosque.

The persons who visited the Mosque include Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri, Mr. Syed Shakeeluddin, Advocate, Mr. Maqbool Bin Abdullah Al-Hajiri, Mr.Khalid Al-Hajiri and others. President of Deccan Wakf Protection Society Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri thanked the Task force staff.
