Patna Aug.10 : Bharatiya Janata Party vice president C. P. Thakur on Monday said joint rallies by “Bade bhai” (Lalu) and “Chote bhai” (Nitish) can be no competition for the BJP’s Muzaffarpur rally.
RJD President Lalu Prasad and JD-U leader Nitish Kumar are known in Bihar politics as “Bade bhai” and “Chote bhai” respectively.
Thakur said, “Even if they do a rally together they still can’t achieve the big scaled rally at Gaya and muzaffarpur. They should defiantly do some exercise but in Gaya the youth was extremely enthusiastic and not only one segment of people were attending but a variety of people.”
“No one manages rallies in BJP, our workers inform people and whoever wishes to come, comes to the rally. We have no restrictions unlike their cast restrictions. Everybody comes according to their will,” he added.
“People of Bihar are very progressive but the politicians did not let them progress. In the field of education, the pools done by magazines have shown Bhiar is backward in everything and there is nothing to poll for in Bihar except for its backwardness,” said Thakur. (ANI)
