Ingredients :
1 cup White lentil
1/2 cup Yellow lentil
3 Garlic Cloves
1/2 inch Ginger
1 kg Yogurt
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Ginger chopped
8 Almont chopped
1 cup Tamarind paste
1/2 tbsp Dry Garlic powder
1 tbsp White cumin (roasted, crushed)
to taste Salt
pinch Black Salt
1/2 tbsp Chat masala
1 tsp Sweet soda powder
for frying Oil
Badami Dahi Baray Method / Tarika:
Strain all the water from soak lentil, grind with garlic onion and mix soda in it.
In a mixing bowl mix yogurt, pinch salt, corn flour, sugar and milk. When cool, add salt and black salt.
In tamarind paste, add dry garlic, cumin and little chat masala and cook it in pan.
After 5 minutes, take out the tamarind paste. Add little sugar in paste. Tamarind chutney is ready.
Heat oil in a wok and take another pan and heat water with little oil. When oil heat up make small balls from batter and fry them till it turns golden brown. Then put them in lukewarm water.
Take a pan add 2 tbsp of yogurt with little water and salt. Take a deep dish and pout yogurt, baray, almond and ginger from top. Sprinkle chat masala and present it with chutney.
