Chandigarh, March 07: Complementing women for their significant contribution in modern society, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said they should play a more decisive role to foster social and cultural cohesiveness.
In his message on the eve of ‘International Women’s Day,’ Badal said women had tremendous potential to usher in an era of prosperity and development across the globe.
Expressing deep concern over the declining sex ratio, the chief minister underscored the need to bring awareness at the grassroot level to reverse this trend.
