Lucknow: Life is very miserable for minorities and dalits in the country, especially in Uttar Pradesh. Minorities and dalits are being victimized. Ruling party and its allied parties are meting out atrocities against them, now the state police have also joined hands with them in the crime. These views were expressed by the speakers here at a conference held at Lucknow Press club entitled Nafrat Ka Raj (Rule of hatred). Former vice chancellor of Lucknow University and human rights activist Prof. Roop Rekha Varma told that today country is going through a critical situation. Innocents are encountered in broad daylight. Not only that the state government is shielding the real culprits, they are also awarded.
Minorities and dalits are made 3rd and 4th grade citizens. They are killed in the name of cow protection, love Jihad and ghar wapsi.
The culprits are shielded by the government so much so that the key accused of Muzaffarnagar riots is today the minister of the state.
RSS’ strategy is to create hatred between Muslims and dalits. Dalits and Adivasis are used during communal riots and after using them they are again marginalized.
Ex-DIG S R Darapuri said, RSS doesn’t want dalits and minorities to develop socially and academically. Saffron brigade doesn’t tolerate its opposition; hence whenever any dalit raises voice against its policies he is crushed. He gave the example of Bheem Army founder Chandrasekhar Azad.
Chief of Rehai Manch advocate Shoaib, Deepak Kabeer, Abu-Bakr and JNU student and former ABVP leader Pradeep Narwal also spoke on the occasion.
The conference was organized by Bheem Army Defence Committee under the theme ‘United against hate’.
